jacobs research center & marek-family commons

The Cincinnati Art Museum’s renovated Level B now houses the Carl M. Jacobs Research Center, the Marek Family Commons, expanded art education classrooms, and a collections study center. The space serves as both a community gathering area and an event venue for banquets of up to 140 guests or lectures of up to 200 attendees. A new entrance and monumental staircase connect Level B to the main axis of the museum’s first floor, emphasizing community engagement. Future plans include an outdoor gathering and sculpture area accessible from the new entrance.
