The 2,300-square-foot Rosenthal Education Center (REC) serves as the museum’s primary hub for arts education. The REC includes studio space, a flexible multimedia classroom, and a welcome area equipped with portable tablets and infrastructure for future technology. The success of its free and fee-based programs led to the addition of new Arts Education Classrooms as part of the 2024 Community Spaces project. Adjacent renovations to the first-floor East Galleries created a series of flexible art spaces that complete the eastern circulation loop from the Great Hall through Alms and Adams Emery Halls, improving visitor navigation and connectivity throughout the museum.
