Unlimited Systems is a software and program development company specializing in medical information technology. Phase I included a 25,000 sf temporary corporate location to facilitate a phased move. The temporary location provided an opportunity to utilize existing furniture systems in different configurations; experimenting with individual work area sizes, layouts, private work zones, shared or teaming work zones, enclosed conference rooms, and open access huddle e space. An in depth programming exercise with participation across the company’s departmental structure revealed an opportunity to test various departmental adjacencies for improved communication and customer service. Unlimited Systems’ permanent corporate home office occupied 32,000 sf in a highly visible location. Program data combined with methods tested in the temporary location resulted in an efficient and productive corporate office space. Technology programming was critical and provided infrastructure for current and future spaces that included flexible, changeable, and cost effective furniture systems.
